Natasha Lyonne has been working in the industry since she was six years old. She started modeling and was signed with the prestigious Ford modeling agency at a young age and was cast as Opal on Pee-wee's Playhouse. Natasha didn't stick in the acting/modeling world for very long, but returned to it as a teenager.

School was never a priority for this creative mind and she never completed high school. She went on to study for a year at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, but never completed the program. Natasha Lyonne has managed to carve her own way in the industry and it seems to be paying off greatly with multiple hit television shows and awards now on her resume.

This satirical romantic comedy stars Natasha Lyonne as Megan, a high school cheerleader, whose parents send her to a conversion therapy camp when it becomes clear that Megan is attracted to other women.

Despite the best efforts of this camp, "True Directions", Megan ends up learning even more about her sexuality and embracing who she is. By the end of the film, Megan has even fallen in love with another camper, Graham, played by Clea DuVall.

9 Kate & Leopold (50%)

This quirky romantic comedy is about a man named Stuart, who is a physicist and during an experiment, accidentally pulls his great-great Grandfather, Leopold from the 19th century, into present-day New York City, where he falls in love with Kate, played by Meg Ryan.

In this fun feature film, Natasha Lyonne plays Darci, Meg Ryan's assistant who convinces her to follow her heart when it comes to Leopold.

8 American Pie (61%)

This hit teen comedy franchise is a different take on the classic coming-of-age story. The first film boasts an impressive cast of teen stars including Natasha Lyonne as Jessica, who is one of Vicky's, played by Tara Reid, more experience and encouraging friends.

7 Sleeping With Other People (63%)

Natasha Lyonne plays the role of the voice of reason in a lot of different films, and she doesn't really well in Sleeping with Other Peoplewhich also stars Alison Brie and Jason Sudekis.

In this film, Brie's character, Lainey, and Sudekis' character, Jake, meet in college and seem to have a connection, but try to keep their relationship casual, if not strictly friendly, until they eventually come to realize that they are definitely meant to be.

6 The Intervention (78%)

The Intervention is actress Clea DuVall's directorial debut. This film tells the story of four couples who are on a weekend getaway. Things for these people go from good to bad pretty quickly when one of the couples realizes that the whole point of the trip is to have an intervention about their relationship.

In the film, Natasha Lyonne plays Sarah, girlfriend to Clea DuVall's character, Jessie. DuVall and Lyonne have been friends since making But I'm a Cheerleader, so it only made sense for them to play a couple again in this movie.

5 G.B.F. (80%)

This teenage comedy tells the story of two closeted gay teenagers, Tanner and Brent. One day, Tanner is outed, which at first seems like the worst thing that could happen, but when the popular girls hear about Tanner's true self, they take him in as one of their own and he begins to climb his high school's social pyramid, leaving Brent in the process.

Lyonne plays one of the teachers at school, Ms. Hoegel, and brings some great humor to an already funny film.

This quirky romantic comedy is about a woman named Doris, played by Sally Field, who falls for a new, much younger co-worker, John, played by Max Greenfield.

Doris, who lives alone after the death of her mother, finds encouragement from a self-help tape and decides to pursue a romantic relationship with John, despite the age difference. Natasha Lyonne's character, Sally, works with Doris and John and gets a front row seat to all of Doris' seduction.

Netflix's hit television series, Orange is the New Blackreally started the binge-watching culture, when the streaming service released it's entire first season at once back in 2013, audiences spent their weekend at home watching every episode and it seems, a new way to watch television was created.

In the hit series, which revolves around characters in a woman's prison and is based on a true story, Natasha Lyonne plays prisoner Nicky, who is tough and street smart and funny but is also someone fans really sympathized with throughout seven successful seasons.

This dramatic feature film was written by and starring Shia LaBeouf and is based on his real-life experiences as a child actor with an abusive father trying to navigate his way through sudden stardom and a less than perfect home life. In the movie, Natasha Lyonne plays Mom to Otis, who is based on Shia LaBeouf.

The film was critically acclaimed but is also considered to be one of the biggest award season snubs from 2019.

1 Russian Doll (97%)

Natasha Lyonne not only stars in this hit Netflix series, but she also wrote and directed a few of the episodes and produced the entire series with Amy Poehler and Leslye Headland.

The series takes viewers through a time loop where Natasha's character, Nadia, relives the night of her 36th birthday over and over again, dying at the end of each loop, only to come back and do the whole thing over again.
