As with a lot of things in 2020, it’s been a pretty strange year for movies. As the COVID-19 pandemic led to extended theater closures, studios began to pull their most anticipated titles off the release calendar and reschedule them for some far-off date in 2021. But rather than mourn the loss of would-be blockbuster entertainment this holiday season, we prefer to look at all the good stuff we still have coming our way, and trust us, there’s plenty of it.

With that in mind, we’ve put together a handy little calendar of our own, listing all of the notable movies set to come not just to the few theaters we still have open, but also to the various streaming services. From indie darlings and festival hits like Chloé Zhao’s Nomadland and Lee Isaac Chung’s Minari to high-profile tentpoles like Pixar’s Soul and Wonder Woman 1984, there’s likely to be a few titles you’ll be interested in, and some of them won’t cost you any extra money. Read on for the full list!
