- Roses for each of the Surrey Memorial Hospital Auxiliary volunteers who worked at our Penny Savers’ Thrift Shop. Their dedication and tireless efforts will be long remembered. Thank you, as well, to all of our Surrey/Delta Community supporters as well!
- A huge bouquet of roses to the Good Samaritan who found my dog wandering around 152nd Street and 92nd Avenue on Monday, Aug. 17, and took her to the Surrey Resource Centre. We were re-united quickly and happy to have her home.
- A truckload of rotten tomatoes to the young man who thought it was completely fine to bring a large number of friends on a trip to Burnaby Mountain Park on Aug. 16th (Sunday) with absolutely no compliance with physical distancing guidelines. Friendly reminder that we are still in a global pandemic and that social gatherings with mainly people in your age range are one of the major reasons for the recent spike in cases in this province.
- Bouquets of roses to Stephanie Cadieux, MLA Surrey South and Tracy Redies, MLA Surrey-White Rock for advocating that “Transparency needed from NDP on Surrey Police.” Rotten tomatoes to other Surrey MLAs ignoring the pleas of their constituents for transparency from the Surrey Police Board and the Surrey Police Service.
