Those of you who have been following Rotten Tomatoes long enough to have witnessed a few of our previous bracket showdowns know that there are rarely ever any surprises in the first round. Well, Round 1 of the DC Heroes Showdown was, rather predictably, no exception, as things panned out more or less as we expected them to. The closest match-ups came in the battle between The Flash of the big screen (Ezra Miller) and the The Flash of the small (Grant Gustin), with the latter ultimately taking the win, and in the battle between Suicide Squad’s Rick Flag and Doom Patrol’s Robotman, which went to the former. On the flip side, Harley Quinn had the largest margin of victory over her opponent, Doom Patrol’s Crazy Jane, while Michael Keaton’s take on Batman walloped George Clooney’s (must have been the bat nipples).
Of course, things get a little tougher in Round 2, so we’re excited to see who emerges to face off in Round 3.
